The location of the land plot is Altai Region, Russian i Region is situated in the south-east of Western Siberia, and borders with China and Kazakhstan. Altai Region is among the largest food-stuffs manufacturers in Russia: it is the fourth major grain manufacturer in Russia, and the first major grain manufacturer in Siberia and Far East.
The land plot is located in southern forest-steppe with continental soils of the territories, where the land plot is located, are medium-humic black-earth soils (chernozem), which have one of the highest indexes of fertility and yield quality in Altai Region.
The land plot is formed out of 32 most fertile fields, located in close proximity to each other, and with a consideration to the ability of their processing with different types of farming machines.
Combination of soil properties and climatic conditions of the region provide the best conditions for:
- growing durum wheat with the increased level of gluten and increased grain hardness of the quality that meets international standards;
- growing other types of crops (different types of wheat, rye, buckwheat, sunflower);
- leguminous plants (pea);
- corn.
